Data Canopy provides two different services to their customers, Bare Metal as a Service and Hardware as a Service.
Bare Metal as a Service
A bare metal server is a physical computer specifically designed to run dedicated services from preconfigured settings. It is highly stable, durable, and reliable. The physical server does not have a hypervisor or Cloud software on it. Canopy Metal is run on Dell hardware in Tier III data centers that are compliant.
Hardware
Hardware-as-a-service (HWaaS) is a procurement model that is similar to leasing or licensing in which hardware that belongs to a managed service provider (MSP) is installed in a colocation facility. The customer chooses the hardware, and they are allowed to customize it.
