Former CenturyLink, Broadvoice senior manager to lead the company’s recruiting efforts and help existing Telarus trusted technology advisors in Florida strategically grow their cloud, unified communications, cybersecurity, and contact center practices

Telarus, LLC., master agent and largest private-held distributor of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced it had hired industry-veteran, Don Gaus of Melbourne, Florida, as its new senior partner development manager (SPDM) of Florida. In this role, Gaus will help existing Telarus channel partners expand their cloud, UCaaS, SD-WAN, contact center, and cybersecurity practices, as well as recruit new trusted advisors interested in leveraging the many award-winning resources Telarus has to offer. Gaus comes to Telarus after 16 years supporting channel partners in the southeast for many of the industry’s top brands: Braodvoice, CenturyLink, Sombus Networks, and Windstream.

During his very successful career, Gaus has held several roles in the channel: he was a channel development manager at leading UCaaS provider, Broadvoice, and YipTel (acquired by Broadvoice) before that. He also spent four years as a senior enterprise account manager, where he consulted with some of CenturyLink’s largest co-location, cloud and managed hosting customers. During his time at these companies, Gaus developed a reputation for responsiveness, building successful teams, and always doing the right things for his partners. Gaus takes over the Florida market for Ruth Morford of Tampa, who was recently promoted to Area Vice President in June 2019.
