The Expedient Services Evolution

Twenty years ago, Expedient started delivering colocation services to clients who valued uptime, saw the burden of operating a data center, and needed access to telecom options. Expedient has 12 data centers in 8 cities and is working every day to grow that footprint.

Thirteen years ago, Expedient set up their first VMware cloud infrastructure for clients who needed flexible VMware infrastructure who no longer wanted to care for and feed servers storage and network. Today they are one of the largest US VMware providers and VMWare’s 2018 Regional Cloud Partner of the year for the Americas with between 30,000 and 40,000 virtual machines in production at any given time.

Six years ago, they started delivering fully-automated disaster recovery as a service for clients who had enough pain with the DIY versions, especially the hard part, network failover.  Expedient are Gartner recognized in the DRaaS Market Guide after three consecutive years on the Gartner Magic Quadrant for DRaaS.

Expedient helps clients with the challenges of managing their multi-cloud environment. Much of the value we deliver to clients is helping them simplify their multi-cloud, accelerate their cloud journeys, and optimize their multi-cloud environment via an overarching strategy and tools to help them make ongoing decisions.
