Industry specialist focused on customer service and satisfaction promoted from within to lead the master agent’s retention and upsell practice.

Telarus, LLC., master agent of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced it had promoted industry-veteran, Kelly Hoyle, as its new director of account management. In this role, Hoyle will lead his team of account managers to maximize retention, enable the sales of up-market cloud products, and evangelize the unique service to Telarus’ community of over 4,000 independent sales partners.

“We are excited to promote Kelly to this Director-level position and congratulate him for all of his hard work,” said Bryce Hayes, SVP of operations for Telarus. “Since he joined our Account Management team three years ago, Kelly has led by example, always staying laser-focused on doing everything a customer could ever ask for: quick response times, accurate quotes and paperwork, and effective escalations when things invariably go wrong. Since he and his group are acting in the name of our sales partners, it’s important that they perform and reflect well. With his experience before coming to Telarus combined with his time here, Kelly has learned the customer-success recipe, and we think he’s uniquely qualified to help us take this program to the next level.”

Account Management, a white-labeled service Telarus provides its partners to help them retain and upsell to their existing customer base, has been available to sales partners since 2014. The unique service enables Telarus sales partners to focus on new sales without having to worry about other unpopular activities they are responsible for – things like tasks like fixing incorrect bills, moving services to a new location, adding new services to existing contracts, renewing expiring contracts, and even selling new technology. These are all tasks that the Telarus Account Management team can perform on a sales partner’s behalf.

The Telarus Account Management Team

Over his successful career, Kelly has held important customer-facing service-oriented roles. He was a store manager for Sports Authority and an Operations Manager for Bed, Bath, and Beyond before coming to Telarus in 2016. During that time Kelly developed a reputation for his responsiveness, building successful teams, and always doing the right things for customers.

“I’ve had the privilege of working in the Telarus Account Management team for a few years in different capacities, and I am proud and excited to lead our highly-talented team,” said Hoyle. “Account Management has been one of our unique value propositions for years, and now things are starting to get exciting as we talk to end-users about next-generation solutions like cybersecurity, cloud computing, contact center, and mobility/IoT. Our main goal is to retain existing business and find new products that customers either don’t know about or have overlooked. For partners who don’t have the budget to hire their retention team, or for partners who want to retire and let us grow their business in perpetuity, our Account Management program is the ideal program.”
