UC and contact center Sales Manager and Engineer named as new VP of UC/CC Business Development, tasked with helping Telarus’ 4,000 sales partners identify, present, and close complex CCaaS and UCaaS opportunities

April 16, 2019 – Sandy, UT – Telarus, LLC., master agent of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced it has hired industry-veteran, Andrew Griffiths of Denver, Colorado, as its new VP of UCaaS and CCaaS business development. In this role, Griffiths will lead the expansion of UC and Contact Center sales throughout the organization – technologies that are the fastest-growing segment of the Telarus product portfolio. This announcement will allow Ray Hicken, VP of Strategic Partners-Contact Center to focus on enterprise-focused partners, while Griffiths will work closely with Telarus field sales teams and suppliers to take these products to the entire base of Telarus partners.

“We are excited to build upon our thriving UC/CC practice with someone as dynamic and knowledgeable as Andrew,” said Roger Blohm, EVP and leader of the Telarus Specialty Practice Teams. “Andrew has a special ability to build relationships and will be an excellent resource for our partners and suppliers. With over 15 years of experience, he’ll hit the ground running with our sales partner community hungry to sell UCaaS and CCaaS.  For us, it’s all about making our partners look good and helping them punch ‘outside their weight class,’ and Andrew is the perfect person to build upon our momentum in this space.”

Over his successful career, Griffiths has held prominent roles with a focus on UC and contact center. Starting as an Account Executive, Andrew found his way into the channel as a channel manager helping partners with Mitel Contact Center products. More recently, Andrew has been a manager of the UC Specialists team, as well as a Sales Manager over the Central region at Allstream.

“If there was a big deal that required the highest level of expertise, Allstream’s answer was to bring in Andrew Griffiths,” added Scott Forbush, SVP of Sales for Telarus and former channel chief for Integra. “Working with Andrew for so many years, I was able to see first-hand his ability to educate customers and agents in a way that is rare in this industry. This ability to listen, ask questions, and carefully step customers and sales partners through the design process will be key to Andrew leading our UCaaS/CCaaS business development efforts, and I have no doubt that our partners are going to love him.”

“I’ve been watching Telarus grow for years, and now I am proud to join them as their UC/CC business development leader,” said Griffiths. “No one focuses on UCaaS and CCaaS like Telarus. They have invested heavily in their ‘specialty’ groups in recent years to help their sales partners sell new cloud communication technologies because it believes in providing leadership in the space. These key resources make their sales partners appear bigger, makes them more credible, and enables them with an ability to close the big deals. I look forward to continuing this momentum and helping the group scale. I also look forward to expanding our UC/CC software ‘virtual engineering’ tools, building our boot camp educational content, and to working with our partners to perfect their pitches so they can get in and close the massive and exciting UC/CC deals.”
