Telarus treated sales partners to the first major UX upgrade to the Telarus Back Office portal in over 12 years, which comes with new functionality – the International Matrix, a unique software tool that allows partners of Telarus the ability to find, in seconds, providers that offer voice and data services outside of the United States.

August 10, 2019 – Aurora, CO — Telarus, LLC., the largest private-held distributor of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced that it had launched Telarus Back Office 3.0, a new mobile-friendly version of its award-winning back office.  The new portal, accessible by all 4,000 of Telarus sales partners worldwide, comes with enhanced search capabilities, and a brand-new addition to its “Matrix” series of Trusted Advisor Tools: The International Matrix.  Using this new tool, Telarus sales partners can quickly consult with business clients who have connectivity and/or voice service requirements in countries outside the United States. Like the other five Matrix Tools (UCaaSCCaaS, SD-WAN, Cybersecurity, and Cloud Computing), the International Matrix comes with an “easy filter” that allows Telarus partners the ability to eliminate and pare down the number of providers that don’t offer services in selected countries with a single click. The new International Matrix is also available to all Telarus partners on the Telarus Mobile App for Apple and Android devices.

“As we continue to attract the top Trusted Advisors in the cloud broker industry, we’ve paid close attention to the areas in which they still struggle when consulting for large clients,” said Adam Edwards, CEO of Telarus. “In the past two years, we’ve seen a dramatic increase in the number of international opportunities. These opportunities are being presented, and the associated research partners have to perform to provide perfect recommendations to their clients is massive. Before we created the International Matrix, partners had to either call Telarus or reach out to each provider in our portfolio to try to narrow down the field of potential good fits for their client. Now, they pull out their phone or laptop, log in, click on the counties in which their clients have a presence, and instantly see which provider is the best fit for that opportunity. This is a huge step forward for our industry, especially now as our sales partners are finding their way into more complex and higher dollar opportunities.”

The complete “Matrix Portfolio” of cloud selection tools, all of which can be client-facing, now includes:

  • International Services Matrix – see which providers offer data network (ethernet, MPLS, DIA) and local phone numbers (DIDs) across the globe
  • Unified Communications Matrix – see which providers offer platform as a service, international services, and month-to-month contracts (www.UCaaSMatrix.net)
  • SD-WAN Matrix – see which providers include firewall functionality, provide dedicated connectivity to popular cloud computing data centers, and offer all-you-can-eat pricing models (www.SD-WANMatrix.net)
  • Cloud Computing Matrix – see which providers offer popular products like DRaaSDaaS, and more (www.CloudComputingMatrix.net)
  • Cybersecurity Matrix – see which providers offer DDoS, SEIM, anti-virus, endpoint protection, and other managed services (www.CyberSecurityMatrix.net)
  • Contact Center Matrix – see which providers offer chatbots, workforce optimization, and more (www.ContactCenterMatrix.net)

“If there is a common theme amongst our new technology releases each year, it’s transparency,” added Patrick Oborn, co-founder of Telarus and original creator of Telarus’ technology back and front-ends. “Throughout our history, we’ve invested heavily in developing a patented technology that allow our sales partners to have access to information in a simple, streamlined way so that they can get back to their customers faster. Speed builds credibility in cloud sales; customers don’t want to wait around for proposals, pricing, contracts, order status updates, circuit performance metrics, etc. This new back-office interface, and the new international matrix, in particular, will improve the speed at which our partners can design complex multi-national solutions, as they’ll be able to narrow down the field in just seconds, cutting days off of the sales cycle and setting themselves apart from their competitors.”

The new technology was revealed by Telarus SVP of technology, Michael Brown, to over 850 people at the Telarus worldwide Partner Summit held at the Gaylord Rockies Resort in Denver, Colorado on August 8, 2019.  It is the second worldwide gathering of Telarus partners since coming together with CarrierSales in early 2018.

“We believe this technology allows our partners to work smarter, not harder,” added Richard Murray, COO, and co-owner of Telarus. “Our goal as a company is to increase the resources our partners have access to with regards to international availability, pricing, and inter-cloud integration, while at the same time hiring industry-leading experts to assist them with complex projects. We want our partners to be more efficient, sell more, and achieve levels of success that they won’t be able to find working with one of our peers. Above all else, we know our partners by name and value the relationships we’ve built with them during the past 17 years. Creating a steady stream of new tools and hiring top subject matter experts for them to use is a huge priority, and privilege, for us.”
