SANDY, Utah – Telarus LLC, leading master agent of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced that it had selected the Gaylord Rockies resort as the location for its 2019 Telarus Partner Summit (TPS) event. The luxurious 1,500-room hotel, scheduled to be completed in February 2019, will play host to the over 1,000 expected guests of Telarus which include sales partners, company employees, and leading suppliers of cybersecurity, cloud computing, unified communications, contact center, IoT, and mobility solutions.

“Both the Stein Eriksen and Boca Raton Resorts were amazing venues for Telarus Partner Summit, and we’re confident the Gaylord Rockies will raise the bar even more,” said Adam Edwards, CEO of Telarus. “TPS has evolved, grown, and taken on a life of its own. Finding a location for 2019 that would improve the overall experience was not an easy task. We needed a location that could provide a fun, welcoming atmosphere for our guests and be easy to access for our partner base. We are confident they are going to love the Gaylord Rockies. It’s the largest construction project in the United States right now, it’s minutes from the Denver Airport, and it’s going to be the home of the best-attended event the Channel has ever seen.”

Created in 2012, the Telarus Partner Summit is an annual event that brings together all of Telarus’ top-selling independent sales agents and the leadership teams of many of Telarus award-winning cloud and broadband service providers. The 3-day event was held at the Stein Eriksen Resort in Deer Valley, Utah from 2012 to 2016 and at the Boca Raton Resort in 2017. The core of the event consists of educational tracks, awards ceremonies, and networking events. Each year the event has culminated with a major software release that enables Telarus partners to find, source, and monitor better UCaaS, Contact Center, Mobility, IoT, and cybersecurity solutions than their peers. These unique, patented tools form the basis for the company’s mantra, “Built for You.”

“We are so excited to be one of the first conventions in the Gaylord Rockies,” added Richard Murray, COO of Telarus. “This event is the one time each year that our partners, suppliers, and employees can come together, in person, to sharpen the sword of understanding of the cloud communications landscape, to hone our collective strategy to sell more, to build lasting relationships, and to make plans for the future. We have worked very hard over the years to evolve this event to make it more personalized, more focused, and more fun than any other events in this industry. Now, with over 700 attendees, we are looking forward to moving TPS to different locations each year. This will give us the ability to accommodate even more guests and to keep the event new and fresh. We are confident our partners and suppliers are going to love it.”

“Just like we teach our partners to be different and to be the experts, we likewise want to keep innovating and improving, starting with our marquee event,” said Patrick Oborn, co-founder of Telarus and creator of the Partner Summit event. “With the help of our suppliers, field assets, and social media outreach, we continue to recruit new sales partners at a record rate, and we have to expand the event to larger resorts so that we can accommodate everyone. We also recognize the tremendous growth we are experiencing in the West and bringing the national Partner Summit back to them makes practical sense when it comes to logistics. We couldn’t be more excited about the growing businesses being built by our sales partners and the decision to locate our ‘Super Bowl’ event in Colorado next year.”

The $800 million Gaylord Rockies, 22 miles from downtown Denver, and just 8 miles from Denver International Airport, is the largest hotel under construction in the United States. Like Gaylord’s other four hotels, its Rockies iteration will highlight characteristics that define the region where it’s located. The conference center will have 485,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including a 50,000-square-foot column-free ballroom that can hold as many as 4,000 people. Telarus Partner Summit 2019 is scheduled to take place at the Gaylord Rockies on August 6-9, 2019, with registration opening in October 2018.
