Former VP of Channel Sales for AireSpring and Zayo to lead the company’s field sales teams in the Central United States, which includes the Southwest and Midwest regions

January 7, 2020 – Sandy, UT, Telarus, LLC., master agent and largest private-held distributor of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced it had hired channel-veteran, Shane Speakman, as its new area vice president (AVP) of the Central Area. In this role, Speakman will be in charge of building up the Telarus field team, meeting with top partners, and executing on the company’s vision of making the area its top producing region nationwide. Speakman and his team will help existing Telarus channel partners expand their security, UCaaS, network, and contact center practices, as well as recruit new partners. The past two years, Speakman lead the Nationwide Channel for AireSpring. Prior to that, Speakman held channel leadership positions at Zayo, XO, Comcast, and Veracity Networks.

During his career with AireSpring, Zayo, and XO, Speakman, a Texas native, held several key roles within the indirect Channel, including strategic channel manager up to, most recently, VP of Channel Sales. In this capacity, Speakman leads his sales teams to attain their revenue targets consistently and garnered many awards in the process. From 2018 to 2019, under Speakmans’ leadership, AireSpring was the fastest-growing Telarus supplier. In his new role, Speakman will lead and coach Telarus senior partner development managers (SPDMs) currently located in: Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati, Dallas, and Austin.
