Rich Goates with Telarus Master Agent Former Vivint Assistant General Counsel to provide an added layer of legal protection for sales partners while streamlining the process to join the master agent as a partner or supplier

Telarus, LLC., master agent of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced it had hired Rich Goates as its new in-house General Counsel.  In this role, Goates will oversee all legal matters on supplier agreements, agent contracts, base rolls, and any legal issues that arise relating to non-payment of commissions.

Over his successful career, Goates has held essential roles at Vivint, where he served as Assistant General Counsel from 2013-2015, and again from 2016-2019 where he was responsible for all legal contracts and compliance for Inside Sales, Retention/Renewal, Collections, and Acquisition Marketing teams. Before joining Vivint, Goates earned his Juris Doctorate in 2009 from Creighton University School of Law.
