Former SimpleWAN, Cogent National Channel Manager to help Telarus sales partners design, present, and close software-defined networking (SD-WAN) opportunities

Telarus, LLC., master agent of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced it has hired industry-veteran, Josh Haselhorst of Phoenix, Arizona, as its new advanced networking sales engineer. In this role, Haselhorst will help sales partners design, present, and close software-defined networking solutions – technology that forms the basis for resilient access to the cloud. His services free to all Telarus sales partners, all of whom can present Haselhorst to their customers under their brand. Haselhorst comes to Telarus with many years of experience at SimpleWAN, Cogent, and Mitel, where he supported channel partners, helping them design and close complex wide area network and UCaaS deals.

“We are excited to welcome Josh to the sales engineering group,” said Josh Lupresto, VP of sales engineering for Telarus. “Everyone who knows Josh knows he is an all-star in the SD-WAN industry. With over ten years of experience in SD-WAN and UCaaS, he’ll hit the ground running with our sales partner community hungry to sell resilient access to the cloud. We also know he’ll have no problem attracting new partners who are focused on growing their SD-WAN business with Telarus. His ability to understand the client’s needs, to design the perfect solution, and then to help present that solution to the client, white-labeled as the agent, will set him apart in the industry and help our partners look like experts in front of their customers. For us, it’s all about making our partners look good and helping them punch ‘outside their weight class.’”

Over his successful career, Haselhorst has held essential roles within the channel and in IT. He was a national channel manager for SimpleWAN, a leading provider of SD-WAN and cybersecurity services. Before that, Haselhorst worked for Cogent and Mitel as a global account manager, working directly with enterprise customers and helping them transition to the cloud over secure infrastructure.

“I’ve been watching Telarus grow for years, and now I am proud to join their sales engineering team,” said Haselhorst. “Telarus has been aggressively hiring new sales engineers to help them sell new technologies because they believe in providing people and resources that make them appear bigger, more credible, and with an ability to close the big deals. Josh Lupresto and his team have helped partners achieve a ton of success in recent years, and I look forward to continuing this momentum and helping the department scale. Telarus has built and purchased so many time-saving software tools over the past decade, culminating with the SD-WAN decision matrix that launched in June at Partner Exchange. I’ll be focused on using these tools, and my own experience, to help our partners close the really big and exciting deals in ways our competition can’t or won’t.”
