Channel veteran to lead the company’s recruiting efforts and help existing Telarus trusted technology advisors in the Northwest strategically grow their cloud, unified communications, cybersecurity, and contact center practices
January 8, 2020, Sandy, UT – Telarus, LLC., master agent and the largest private-held distributor of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced it had hired industry-veteran, G.R. Heryford, as its new senior partner development manager (SPDM) of the Pacific Northwest. In this role, Heryford will help existing Telarus channel partners expand their cloud, UCaaS, SD-WAN, contact center, and cybersecurity practices, as well as recruit new, trusted advisors interested in leveraging the many award-winning resources Telarus has to offer. Heryford comes to Telarus after 16 years supporting channel partners in the Northwest for many of the industry’s top brands.
“We are excited to welcome G.R. as our new Senior Partner Development Manager of the Pacific Northwest,” said Mike Bettilyon, Area VP of the West for Telarus. “We have known G.R. during his very successful career and have been big fans of his work. He knows this business; he knows who the players are, and most of all, he knows the value Telarus brings to our partners. He’ll be laser-focused on getting our valued partners in Washington and Oregon the education and resources they need to expand into the fastest-growing areas of technology brokerage: cybersecurity and cloud contact center.”
Heryford is the third industry veteran to join Telarus in the Seattle area in the past five months. He was preceded by Scott Glick, sales engineer, and Koby Phillips, VP of business development – cloud. During his very successful career, Heryford has held several roles within the Pacific Northwest Channel. During his time in the channel, Heryford developed a reputation for responsiveness, building successful teams, and always doing the right things for his partners.
“For over a decade, I’ve been working with partners in the Pacific Northwest helping them start, grow, and even sell their businesses. Many have become trusted friends. I’m so proud to be joining the Telarus team as Telarus has always stood for innovation, respect, and a total commitment to providing an unsurpassed Partner Experience.” Said Heryford. “Since 2002, Telarus has a proven track record of continually investing – and re-investing – in patented research tools, technology, and engineering expertise that partners have come to rely on, especially with advanced products like cloud and cybersecurity. I’m excited to continue executing on the company’s vision of unlocking huge opportunities with the industry’s top producers. I already know most of the Telarus partners here, and I am very excited to help them unleash their growth potential using all the providers in our portfolio. I’m also looking forward to the opportunity to help partners expand beyond their traditional product lines, so they can benefit from the opportunities that cloud, cybersecurity, and contact center represent.”
