November 1, 2019 – Sandy, UT – Telarus, LLC and Cynergy Telecom are pleased to announce that Telarus has acquired the operations division of Cynergy. The purchase will transfer specific assets and customer account support functions to Telarus. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Cynergy focuses on selling to mid-sized enterprise organizations and sought more efficiencies in their operation to maximize their efforts on selling to customers. Telarus, a master agency, has built a world-class back office offering, including engineering, project management, and account management, to assist sales partners in growing their businesses. The companies have worked together in close partnership for over ten years, and this transaction further deepens their mutual growth and investment.
The principal owners of Cynergy will continue to invest in the organization and grow with a streamlined and more efficient staff. “This sale allows us to leverage the scale of the Telarus operation so we can focus on expanding our sales efforts,” said Mike Emanuelo, Partner at Cynergy.
Cynergy has invested for years in their project management and account management processes. “We are thrilled to add their expertise to our team. The idea for this transaction came when the owners of Cynergy saw how much Telarus had invested in scaling their operational capabilities. As they learned more, it became clear that they could focus their energies on selling and driving custom solutions for their customers. “Our passion has been finding and educating our customers about the right solutions for their business, and this transaction allows us to do more of that,” said Jeff Cohen, Partner at Cynergy.
The transaction will close on November 1, 2019, though transition preparations will begin immediately and will continue into early 2020. Cynergy customers will continue to be supported as they have been, while other Telarus partners should expect seeing an expansion of the Telarus support offering in 1Q 2020.
