One thing we’ve realized we can’t get enough of and that you’re asking for is more VMware competitors when it comes to private cloud providers.

Welcome to new suppliers on the block. This series brings you closer to the newest suppliers in the portfolio, showcasing what they offer and how it can strengthen your conversations and customer outcomes. Let’s jump in.

We have all the pinnacle capabilities with 11:11, RapidScale, TierPoint, Expedient, many of those big players in the marketplace. But one thing we need is more of those competitors that say, hey, we wanna get off and get to Nutanix. We wanna get to Proxmox. We wanna get to Hyper V, Linux KVM, any other type of hypervisor and get away from VMware specifically.

And that’s where we bring Summit in. Summit is a highly capable private cloud provider built on VMware, Hyper V, Proxmox, dedicated hardware. It’s for those customers that don’t wanna isolate on one hypervisor and get locked in again, but one that wanna, you know, transition to something where there’s an and button, not an or. So I wanna have my production environment on VMware because I have to because of application dependencies.

Or I wanna get something that’s more cost effective like Proxmox or Hyper V, but still highly capable because I need Veeam as my Doctor platform, and it needs to have those direct integrations. That’s somewhere Summit can come in and build something tailored to the customer environment, do it cost effectively, but also put that white glove experience that we’ve seen some other providers lacking. And one thing that they do very well is they scale very efficiently. So they can go into the SMB customers that are under 500 employees.

They can go to mid market. They can actually scale up to upper enterprise if you wanna bring them into that. So one thing I’ll definitely wanna recommend them for is anytime you’re thinking TierPoint, Expedia, RapidScale, Flexcentral, Equinix, any of those providers that have a private cloud instance, and you also want flexibility, even thinking of DataBank, think of Summit. Summit is amazing when it comes to all that stuff, and they should be definitely part of your ninety ten rule when it comes to I wanna know which cloud providers to recommend and lean on for my customers.

They either want out of AWS, Azure, GCP, or even off of Broadcom.
