CISCO PARTNERSHIP UPDATE

July 14, 2022

As expected, Cisco has proven to be a great supplier for members of our community as they continue to invest in partner success. With only six short months as an official Telarus supplier, we’ve seen numerous deals closed, and a multi-million-dollar sales funnel that is sure to produce results.

Why, you ask?

Well…

Webex is trusted by 95% of Fortune 500 companies and integrates seamlessly into 100+ industry-leading apps. Gartner has recognized Cisco as a Leader in its 2021 Magic Quadrant™ for Meeting Solutions for the fifteenth time. Gartner has again recognized Cisco as a Leader in its 2021 Magic Quadrant™ for UCaaS.

It is not surprising to us that we have seen fantastic synergies between Cisco and our partner community. With the numerous resources they have dedicated to helping support our partners, we have been able to scale rapidly and even dedicate internal Telarus resources in an effort to provide full life cycle support.

Cisco joining Telarus was a massive win for Partners. One Telarus Partner was especially grateful that Cisco joined the channel, a standard was set internally with one of those Partners’ customers, who would only work with approved vendors. Thankfully, Cisco was now on that list. Cisco allowed the Partners to quote and sell that enterprise deal quickly, making this a huge win for the Partner and the IT staff.

Let’s Talk Webex

Cisco’s Webex has been taking the industry by storm. Cisco stated that there are around 4 million active monthly Webex calling users. This large number would not be obtainable without the numerous resellers that take pride in selling this product to customers. These partnerships truly make everything possible.

Cisco supports all vertical markets, with scaling options from one to thousands of users. Innovation has accelerated with over one thousand in the last 19 months alone! Real-time translation included in Webex is the bridge to better collaboration bringing inclusivity to a global audience. Supporting over 100 languages real-time translation aids your understanding, similar to watching a subtitled movie. This is changing how workflows are done and is one of the fastest-growing adopted feature sets.

Slido, a recent Cisco acquisition is also included in Webex, making meetings interactive and engaging with live polls, Q&A, quizzes and word clouds.

Capacity: Webex Meetings holds 1000, Webex Events holds 3000, Webex Training holds 1000, Webex Webinars holds 10,000, and Webex Events Webcast Mode holds 100,000.

Cisco’s well-oiled working machine would not be able to run without its incredible team. Cisco’s channel team has seen tremendous growth and continues to grow today. This team has been investing and is currently hiring to find others to join their mission of providing customers with top-of-the-line products and services.

As many of you are aware, Cisco Collaboration is more than Webex UC seats, and we are excited for the launch of their Contact Center offering in the indirect channel later this year.

What do the channel leaders have to say?

“We are thrilled at the amount of activity we are seeing from Telarus partners, and we love supporting their team. The amount of growth we have seen in such a short amount of time proves how valuable this channel is to Cisco.” said Geoff Works, Head of Agency, Webex by Cisco.

“You always wonder when a company joins the channel what the support and adoption will look like,” said Adam Edwards “This has been one of the most well-coordinated launches we’ve seen. Cisco has deep channel experience and they’ve added to that, veterans from our channel. It’s no wonder our partners are having such a great experience.”
