Industry Veteran in cloud and network sales to head Telarus recruiting efforts and building go-to-market strategies for brokers, MSPs, and VAR partners residing in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Montana

Telarus LLC, the fastest growing master agent of UCaaS, SD-WAN, and contact center, today announced it had hired industry-veteran, Phillip Brekke, as its new senior partner development manager (SPDM) of the Mountain West region. In this role, Brekke will help existing Telarus channel partners expand their UCaaS, SD-WAN, and contact center practices, as well as recruit new partners. Brekke comes to Telarus with eight years of channel sales experience with marquee providers of cloud application and infrastructure services.

“We are excited to welcome Phil to our Mountain West Partner Development team,” said Mike Bettilyon, regional VP of the Mountain West, for Telarus LLC. “Phil is a seasoned industry veteran who understands how to attract top-selling partners and open their minds to all of the unique tools and resources Telarus provides for them to grow their contact center, network, and UCaaS practices.  With his prior experience at Dizzion, IQWired, Comcast Business, and CBeyond, we’ve experienced first-hand his unique ability to help his partners exceed their growth targets with his responsiveness, attention to detail, and thorough understanding of today’s communication technology. He’ll be a huge asset for our partners in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Montana.”

During his career Brekke has held several roles within the direct and indirect channel, specializing in the training of sales leaders and development of new partners. In this capacity Brekke has sold and supported both cloud computing services (Desktop as a Service), SD-WAN, and UCaaS opportunities, giving him the experience required to deliver exceptional guidance to VAR, telco agents, and technology sales partners looking to expand their cloud and contact center practices.

“There is little doubt that Telarus is now the place to be if you’re an agent looking to expand your residual cloud and connectivity business, and I’m proud to be a part of it,” said Brekke. “With Telarus’ recent acquisition of CarrierSales, the amount of expertise in contact center, mobility, co-lo, and cloud is unparalleled. Add to that Telarus’ patented real-time quoting system, fiber map lookup app for iPhone, free network monitoring, hosted voice monitoring, UCaaS, and SD-WAN product matrices, and demand generation technology, and I’ll have plenty to talk about when I meet with new and existing partners. From my time at Dizzion, I met and supported many Telarus partners already and am very excited to help them unleash their growth potential using all the 160 providers in our portfolio as well as the many SME and software assets Telarus has built and purchased over the past decade and a half.”

Brekke will be meeting with partners in Las Vegas at the Channel Partners show April 17-20, at the upcoming 2018 Telarus Partner Xchange (June 19-22), and the Annual Telarus Innovation Conference and Golf Tournament on September 11-12 in Salt Lake City, and at upcoming local partner events to be held in the Denver market.
