Telarus, LLC., the largest private-held distributor of business cloud infrastructure and contact center services, today announced it had hired industry-veteran and Detroit resident, Bridget Kang, as its new senior partner development manager (SPDM) of Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania. In this role, Kang will help existing Telarus channel partners expand their data, voice, cloud, and contact center practices, as well as recruit new, trusted advisors interested in leveraging the many technical resources Telarus has to offer. Kang comes to Telarus after having worked in channel management for Windstream, Nitel, and most recently, Nextiva – one of the fastest-growing providers of cloud voice services.
“We are excited to welcome Bridget as our new senior partner development manager of Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania,” said Mike Gottwalt, Central Area VP for Telarus. “We’ve known and worked with Bridget for quite some time and know firsthand how well she performs when it comes to helping channel partners expand their UCaaS, network, and SD-WAN sales. She knows this business, she knows who the players are, and most of all, she knows the value Telarus brings to our partners. She’ll be focused on getting our valued partners in the ‘Rust Belt’ – partners who have never had direct Telarus representation – the education and resources they need to expand into the fastest-growing areas of technology brokerage: cybersecurity and cloud contact center.”
During her very successful career, Kang has held several roles within the channel. She was a partner channel manager at Nextiva and Nitel. Before that, she was a major account manager for Windstream and in 2004 served two years as a police officer in Farmington Hills. Over her 6-year telecom career, Bridget has developed a reputation for responsiveness, building successful teams, and always doing the right things for her partners.
“To say I’m excited to join Telarus is an understatement,” said Bridget Kang, senior partner development manager for Telarus. “I’ve always felt that, if the opportunity arises, I’d like to join their team. The culture they’ve built over 17 years, and the solid reputation of always innovating to help their partners punch outside their weight class, has attracted me, and many of the industry’s top trusted advisors and subject-matter-experts. I’m excited to help tell the Telarus story of building software tools for partners, hiring the top engineers in the business, building financial programs to help partners grow. I am ready to tell our partners here in the Rust Belt what can happen if they lean hard into Telarus. This business is all about leverage, relationships, and execution, and Telarus has all three. From my time at Nextiva, Nitel, and Windstream, I have already met many Telarus partners am very excited to help them unleash their growth potential using all the 200 providers in our portfolio.”
