Empowering VARs
When we sat down to develop VENUS, we wondered why no one had
created any sort of back office quoting software for VARs who
offer carrier sales in their product portfolio. All of the
"off the shelf" packages available are designed specifically
for agents - a trend we at Telarus are happy to reverse.
VENUS was created specifically with larger VARs in mind,
especially those with full-time staff dedicated to the
sales of carrier services. VENUS allows VARs the ability
to set up sub-accounts for its employees and/or independent reps,
providing the administrator with a bird's eye view of all the activity
happening within the organization. After 3 years of programming
and hundreds of thousands of dollars in development, VENUS
was born on December 20, 2007.
How Does VENUS Work?
Telarus actively generates telecom equipment leads to its VAR partners through
web sites like www.VARNetwork.com and other affiliated web properties. Using VENUS,
VARs can then assign these leads they receive to specific individuals within their
own sales departments for follow-up. Conversely, these users can use VENUS to match
up their equipment clients with the carrier service that is the best fit for their
customer. In a nutshell, VENUS is a web site that allows VARs the ability to have:
- unlimited employee management
- customized commission levels (if applicable)
- real-time data quotes (DSL/T1/DS3)
- real-time voice quotes (Integrated/PRI/Local/LD)
- automatic proposal generator
- access to 30 carrier contracts
- complete financial reporting suite
- full accounts payable modules

Why VENUS?
It is Telarus' goal to be the master agent of choice for VARs. Period. Not only do
we generate leads to help them grow their equipment businesses, we also know that we
can attract more partners by offering them software that makes their lives easy
when it comes to carrier services. Let's be honest, GeoQuote has been a huge
competitive advantage for our agents - they know what carrier is where and at
what price (including promotions and spiffs). Now, with the help of VENUS,
VARs who are offering carrier services now have that same advantage. Using
Telarus contracts for this software is a small price to pay, especially considering
our lucrative commission schedule.
How Much Does is Cost To License VENUS?
Although we don't license the package for money, we do license it to our
VAR partners who commit to use Telarus for all or part of the carrier contracts.

assist you with the paperwork, orient you on how we do business, and set up your
