Telarus Names Lance Akins as new VP of Sales

DRAPER, Utah - July 16, 2007 - Telarus, Inc. announced today that it has named Lance Akins as the new Vice President of Sales. In his new role Mr. Akins will lead the agent sales channel and manage all vendor relationships.

"We are excited to announce the recent promotion of Lance Akins. We have no doubt he will execute the duties of VP of Sales with drive, vision, and integrity." commented Adam Edwards, president of Telarus. "We feel Mr. Akins has all of the tools necessary to lead our sales organization well into the future."

Mr. Akins was originally hired by Telarus in 2003 as an agent sales manager where he recruited new agents and trained them on how to effectively build their business using the tools and leads Telarus provides. Prior to today's announcement the duties traditionally associated with a VP of Sales were performed by the president of Telarus, Adam Edwards.

"Lance has played a critical role in the development of our agent program as well as the unique software that supports it" added Andrew Morgan, VP of Web Operations. "Since the beginning Lance has exhibited a talent for envisioning new features and functionality that have found their way into the current versions of our agent back office. Our agents enjoy a tremendous technical advantage because of Lance's creative mind."

Mr. Akins also played a key role in the development of MARS - Telarus' private-label Master Agent Back Office suite.
