Telarus Completes Patent Application of GeoQuote

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Ca, November 10, 2003 - Telarus, a wholly owned subsidiary of Telarus, Inc., today filed for a patent to protect GeoQuote, the world's first interactive real-time T1 price comparison tool. The formal application was filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office by Telarus patent attorney Philip Marsh, Esq. of Cooley Godward LLP.

According to Patrick Oborn, Chief Technical Officer of Telarus, Inc., GeoQuote technology enables the general public to dynamically view T1 pricing and availability for their exact location in real-time. To determine a T1 price, GeoQuote utilizes revolutionary geo-mapping and database standardization techniques to calculate the exact distance from a user's location to the location of the nearest T1 vendor's POP, or Point of Presence. GeoQuote has a resolution of one one-hundredth of a mile and an error rate of less than 2%.
