Telarus Completes Automation of Comcast Business Quotes and Customer Paperwork

New technology allows agents selling Comcast Business Internet, voice, PRI, and TV to generate signature-ready documents in seconds.

DRAPER, UT - March 24, 2011 Telarus, Inc., premier telecom master agent and patent holder of real-time carrier quotes, today announced the launch of their automated Comcast Business Class qualification and paperwork generator. The technology paves the way for independent agents partnered with Telarus to check for Comcast availability, configure a custom service package for their client, and to generate paperwork in real-time. Telarus, one of three national Comcast Business Class Solution Providers, officially launched Comcast's business product line to its partners on March 22, 2011.

Comcast Business offers uniform, across-the-board pricing on all business class Internet, voice (POTS), trunks (PRI), and TV services: the only question is that of availability. Telarus' GeoQuote technology has been programmed to 'know' where Comcast services may be available within the 19 markets served by Comcast.

"Once the agent selects a package with the proper bandwidth and term, they are then able to begin the paperwork generation process," added Andrew Morgan, VP of Web Development for Telarus. "We modeled our interface from online tax preparation services. Just answer a few basic questions and out comes your paperwork."

Once the Telarus agent completes the questionnaire, completed paperwork is then emailed directly to the partner in a matter of seconds as an Adobe PDF attachment. The paperwork can then be easily forwarded to the client or printed out for signature.

The new Comcast Business agent program, launched with three selected master agents - including Telarus - will initially focus on Comcast's small business broadband and voice products that are comparable to T1 and integrated PRI services offered by ILEC and CLEC vendors, with later expansion into metro Ethernet networks and internet access.
