Comcast Business Services Enters Into Master Agent Agreement with Telarus

Agreement paves the way for independent sales agents to sell Comcast Business Services' suite of high-speed internet, TV, and voice solutions.

PHILADELPHIA, PA - March 14, 2011 Comcast Corporation (Nasdaq: CMCSA, CMCSK) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Telarus, Inc, to sell Comcast Business Services' portfolio of small, medium, and enterprise broadband and voice solutions. The agreement marks Comcast's entry into the outside sales channel, enhancing its ability to reach higher-end business clientele. Telarus, Inc. was one of three master agents selected for the program.

"We are excited to begin selling our world-class business products through the agent channel," said Craig Schlaugbaum, newly appointed head of the Comcast Indirect Sales Channel. "Agents have a unique ability to sell voice and data solutions to medium-to-large enterprises. With the help of Telarus, Inc. and our other master agent partners, we'll be able to compete for and win future business as Comcast becomes part of the solution independent consultants propose to their clients."

The new Comcast Business agent program will initially focus on Comcast's small business broadband and voice products that are comparable to T1 and integrated PRI services offered by ILEC and CLEC vendors, with later expansion into metro Ethernet networks and internet access.
