Charter Business Enters Into Master Agent Agreement with Telarus

Suite of fiber Ethernet and bundled coax business services include high-speed internet, TV, and voice solutions through the Telarus, Inc. distribution channel

ST. LOUIS, MO – Charter Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHTR) today announced that it has entered into an agreement with Telarus, Inc, a national distributor of commercial voice and data services, to sell Charter Business' portfolio of small, medium, and enterprise broadband voice, video, and fiber-optic solutions. The agreement opens the door for the 1,200 independent agents who source through Telarus to prequalify, recommend, and sell Charter Business products to their business clientele.

"Providing our world-class business products to the Telarus agent channel enables us to compete for and win future business as Charter Business becomes part of the solution independent consultants propose to their clients," said Michael Fair, Vice President of Charter Business Third Party Sales Channel.

The Charter Business agent program’s dual focus is : Being the first being small business broadband, voice, and video products comparable to T1 and integrated PRI services offered by ILEC and CLEC vendors and providing metro Ethernet networks and Internet access. Telarus has developed proprietary software that automates most small business product qualification and order process, in addition to creating ca Google map display that its agents can utilize to discover larger metro Ethernet selling opportunities.
