recruiting, intellectual property, software development, and carrier relationships.
Adam Edwards, President
Mr. Edwards is a co-founder of Telarus, Inc. and serves as our president.
Mr. Edwards is a well-respected member of the Channel community who sits on numerous advisory
boards, including PHONE+/ChannelPartners.com, is a frequent keynote speaker on industry discussion
panels and forums, and has twice been named a
Top Channel Chief by CRN Magazine.
His day-to-day responsibilities include managing the accounting, legal,
operations, sales, and marketing departments. He meets frequently with
our suppliers to
ensure Telarus partners enjoy the best contracts, commission, and support.
Prior to co-founding Telarus, Inc. in 2002, Mr. Edwards was the Vice President
of Finance for Quest Manufacturing, Inc. Mr. Edwards served from 1999
through 2001 as the Vice President of Finance for Silicon Film Technologies, Inc. In his role
at SFT, Mr. Edwards prepared the company for its successful financing in 2000 in which the
company raised $6 Million. Mr. Edwards holds
a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University and is a CPA.
Patrick Oborn, VP of Marketing
Mr. Oborn is a co-founder of Telarus, Inc. and currently serves as our VP of Marketing.
He is the creative mind behind much of Telarus' innovation and is
responsible for telling the Telarus story. Public relations, branding, social media,
attracting new partners to Telarus, onboarding these new partners, and working
with other departments to ensure Telarus maintains its edge in the industry all fall
under the Marketing Department.
Mr. Oborn also oversees company events such as the yearly
Presidents Club trip,
Telarus Partner Summit, and Telarus trade show
appearances. Mr. Oborn is an expert in search engine marketing and is highly respected
by partners who attend his seminars and web trainings. He is also the co-author of the
patented GeoQuote real-time quoting technology. Mr. Oborn is a published author who
graduated with Honors from Brigham Young University in
1998 with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
Robert Butler, VP of Sales
Robert Butler serves as Vice President Sales, and has been with Telarus since January 2007.
Mr. Butler oversees all personnel involved in Sales; namely the Partner Development Managers (PDMs),
the Internal Channel Account Managers (ICAMs), and the local Partner Relationship Managers (PRMs) in
each market. Mr. Butler's department is on the front line, working with our partners each day
to ensure they have everything they need, both from a Telarus support perspective, as well as
from a carrier/supplier perspective.
Mr. Butler is a telecommunications veteran and has a proven track record of accomplishments within the
data, voice, and cloud industry. In this capacity, Mr. Butler manages agents, VARS, sales employees
nationwide who interact daily with Telarus and Telarus suppliers. Previously, Robert was Director
of Telarus VAR Channel, Director of sales, and held sales leadership positions at
New Edge Networks (now Earthlink Business).
Robert holds a Finance degree from Southwest Texas University.
Andrew Morgan, VP of Operations
Mr. Morgan is the main driver behind all of our partner support, both on the inter-personal
and software fronts. Mr. Morgan supervises and manages the daily operations of the company
and ensures that our partners are treated with white gloves when they need information relating
to a price quote, provisioning update, or software enhancement. Under his
supervision Telarus has released GeoQuote, GeoScan,
GeoSign, the award-winning Telarus back office CRM,
as well as spearheading many important internal tools such as Sabiona. Before Mr. Morgan took over the reigns at
Telarus, Andrew served as the Internet Marketing Director of PowerNet Global Communications from 2005 to 2007.
Mr. Morgan graduated with Honors from Oklahoma Christian University in 2001 with a Masters in Business
Administration with an emphasis in E-Business. .
