Adam Edwards, CEO Connect with Adam Edwards on LinkedIn
Adam Edwards is a co-founder of Telarus, Inc. and serves as our CEO. Adam is a well-respected member of the Channel community who sits on numerous advisory boards, including PHONE+/ChannelPartners.com, is a frequent keynote speaker on industry discussion panels and forums, and has twice been named a Top Channel Chief by CRN Magazine. His day-to-day responsibilities include all aspects of the business related to strategy and culture. Prior to co-founding Telarus, Inc. in 2002, Adam was the Vice President of Finance for Quest Manufacturing, Inc. Adam also served from 1999 through 2001 as the Vice President of Finance for Silicon Film Technologies, Inc. In his role at SFT, Adam prepared the company for its successful financing in 2000 in which the company raised $6 Million. Adam holds a B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University and is a CPA. David Bashford serves as our President, and has been with Telarus since October 2013. Although new to 'telecom,' David has over 20-years of corporate and legal experience working in both the insurance and financial services industries. His responsibilities have included defining and executing the strategic plan, day-to-day operations, working with prospective and existing clients, recruiting and developing top producers, and managing legal matters. Prior to joining Telarus, Bashford worked as the president of the Leavitt Group, the 2nd largest privately-held brokerage in the nation, as well as serving as the the chief operating officer and general counsel for Van Gilder, a large commercial insurance and employee benefit broker in the Rocky Mountain region. Bashford received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University and Juris Doctor from the University of Denver. David Bashford

Patrick Oborn is a co-founder of Telarus, Inc. and serves as our Chief Innovation Officer. "What's next" is what Patrick does, and has done since the beginning. He was the one who wouldn't take 'no' for an answer during the start-up phase of the company, coming up with the idea for GeoQuote (real-time quoting), lead sharing, and more. Patrick is a public speaker and expert in search engine marketing - he typically shares many of his secrets at the annual Telarus Partner Summit in Deer Valley, Utah. He is also a blogger and patent holder of GeoQuote real-time quoting technology. Patrick graduated with Honors from Brigham Young University in 1998 with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and was a circuit designer for Northrop Grumman and a web designer for Cognigen Networks prior to starting Telarus. Zane Christensen serves as Chief Financial Officer, and has been with Telarus since December 2013. In his role as CFO, Zane directs the financial affairs of Telarus; partner compensation, supplier compensation, employee compensation, budgeting, and forecasting, all fall under his purview. Zane brings with him a vast wealth of experience working in industries that include software, technology, manufacturing, financial services, and many others, and holds a Masters of Accounting from Brigham Young University. Michael Gottwalt serves as our Vice President of Field Sales. Mike was one of our very first agents back in 2003 and later joined us as a Channel Manager in 2007. Not only was Mike an agent for Telarus, he was one of our top, landing the largest Level 3 deal in our company's history. Mike is now in charge of the Partner Development Managers (PDMs) and the local Partner Relationship Managers (PRMs) in each market. His team is on the front lines, working with our partners in the field each day to ensure they have everything they need, both from a Telarus support perspective, as well as from a carrier/supplier perspective. Paula McKinnon serves as our Vice President of Supplier Management. Since coming to Telarus in 2010, Paula has been an inspiration to those arround her. She began as a partner support representative and has climbed all the way to the rank of Vice President as a result of her personality, hard work, attention to detail, and leadership. She leads by example and always has something positive to say, even in the most trying of circumstances. Paula's focus as the VP of Supplier Management is to optimize the allignment of Telarus and supplier resources, to make sure every stakeholder delivers on their promises, and the make sure Telarus enjoys the best partner support and access available in the industry. Paula is an active member of the Women in the Channel organization and holds a Certified Telecommunications Professional certification from the TCA. Paula McKinnon
