After we had created and filed for a United States patent on our new real-time quoting system in 2003, we needed to give it a name. The term "GeoQuote" just made sense, since the price of T1 and other commercial telecom products are so sensitive to geography. How it Works

GeoQuote is one of the cornerstone technologies that makes up Telarus. All of our web sites, both public and private facing, connect to GeoQuote in order to create real-time price quotes which are used to help customers find the best service at the right price.

All of our web sites connect to our GeoQuote kernel via XML, which is the real secret to GeoQuote's success. We can create web pages in Cold Fusion, PHP, ASP.net, it doesn't matter - as long as the programming language can handle XML requests. This breakthrough has allowed up to flood the Internet with GeoQuote enabled web sites that gather leads for our Closers (read: sales consultants or agents).

After our GeoQuote system generated a price quote, the lead is then run through our LPS, or Lead Processing System, that determines which agent the lead should be assigned to. Every lead that is entered into the GeoQuote system is only assigned to one person to minimize channel conflict and to ensure the end-user doesn't get bombarded with follow-up messages.
