Having achieved the Most Valuable Partner award for the past six years, Telarus has received special resources and commission rates from New Edge, enabling Telarus agents to accel to new levels of success.
New Edge Networks was one of the first to extend MPLS classes of service over DSL access. This was a significant breakthrough considering the fact that New Edge Networks has built the largest xDSL coverage area available from a single provider.
New Edge Networks maintains network-to-network interfaces (NNIs) with every RBOC in the nation and supplemental coverage NNIs to a variety of independent LECs.
New Edge provides diverse connections to three Global providers (AT&T Worldnet, and Level 3) to ensure performance and redundancy. If there is a problem in a certain geographic area or with a single provider they will route their customers' traffic to another provider.
By coupling layer 1 protection with layer 2 dynamic rerouting, New Edge can provide a rock-solid base for transport. They have selected a variety of tier-1 transport providers, greatly reducing their exposure to fiber cuts and other catastrophic failures through diversification.
