Telarus Releases MoonRize to Provide Order Status Visibility to its Partners
Free service, available on the web or mobile device, provides daily updates of data, voice, and cloud orders placed through the distributor’s bench of over 100 XaaS providers

Deer Valley, UTAH - Telarus, Inc., master agent of business data, voice, and cloud, services, today unveiled MoonRize – a new technology that provides daily updates to its Partners on data, voice, and cloud orders. The MoonRize system is available on Telarus’ award-winning partner back office, located at agent.telarus.com, and on the company’s partner app, available for both iPhone and Android devices. MoonRize was unveiled by the co-Founders of Telarus, Adam Edwards and Patrick Oborn, at the company’s sold-out annual Partner Summit in Deer Valley, Utah.
“One of the biggest frustrations our partners experience is submitting an order and not knowing the status when asked by a customer,” said Adam Edwards, CEO of Telarus. “This lack of transparency can mean the difference in success and failure for our partner community. When their end-user customer contacts them asking for status and our partners don’t know, it diminishes the customer experience and hurts our partner’s brand. We want to make sure they have easy access to this information, updated daily, on their smartphones, so that they can always be seen as the expert by their customers.”
Telarus has a history of launching new technology at their annual Partner Summit. Last year the company released a web-based hosted PBX quoting tool capable of pricing out dozens of unified communication offerings in under 60-seconds. In 2015, the company launched its new mobile app, which has formed the platform for fiber mapping, supplier contacts, trouble tickets, President’s Club status, stack ranking, and now, order updates.
The first providers to participate in the Beta version of MoonRize are Comcast Business, ACC Business (a division of AT&T), and AireSpring. It is estimated that MoonRize will provide daily reporting on over 80 percent of all orders submitted to Telarus by the end of 2017.
“Order status is typically an immediate need because the partner is prompted by a customer to request status. When partners have transparency they can answer this question immediately, keeping their customer’s confidence and spending less time to do so,” added Bryce Hayes, SVP of Operations for Telarus. “Before the launch of MoonRize, Telarus support teams spent over 30 percent of their time retrieving and sending order status updates manually, to the partners they support. Although we’re still here to help, we look forward to our partners being able to consume this information on their own.”
